Search

Search has become highly commoditised in the last few years. With the rise of social media and business networking sites, many recruitment operators and in-house practitioners talk of conducting ‘search assignments’. In our experience, often-times, people are simply engaging in recruitment exercises but based on very long short-lists. We view Search as a specific method for identifying, targeting and selecting the best individual for a role. The individual having the requisite skills, experience and behaviours to meet, if not exceed, the expectations of the client.

Collecting data is only the first part of the process – culling the target list; approaching and assessing the individuals deemed potentially on-point; through to ensuring the chosen hire is on-boarded and embedded into the client’s business – is where the real art lies. We very much enjoy working with a client to target and secure the best possible talent for a role or a potential role.
